Modern philanthropy requires modern approaches to cultivating, engaging, and communicating with donors. With donors increasingly seeking more personal connections to the impact of their giving, immersive donor-specific online experiences are now critical to the success of donor relations and stewardship.

Every gift—from annual giving to endowment-level giving—creates one or more impact or beneficiary stories.

Our mission and promise to you is to make it possible for you to share those stories with every donor—regardless of their level of giving—and make the process scalable so that you can do more storytelling in more ways to more donors. The latest release of the Mythos Sites module expands on that promise to give you more control and a refined donor experience.

The Mythos Sites module was already an effective way to deliver engaging, interactive digital communications experiences at scale. But Boston College needed a more sophisticated way of organizing content for its diverse donor base. The University of Michigan needed a more sophisticated way of rolling out its reports. And several other teams in the Mythos User Community needed better ways of collaborating with and integrating input from campus partners.

A primary focus for us in 2024 was implementing feedback from the community to improve your ability to report and communicate impact through immersive, interactive digital experiences with Mythos Sites.

We introduced the Mythos Donor Homepage to help you centralize and organize reporting and donor relations communications from across schools and units. Donors can now see all the relevant impact, stories, and fund information in one digital experience.

About the Mythos Donor Homepage

The Mythos Donor Homepage provides a single place for donors to access their impact and fund information. Any Mythos Team can publish into a donors site or can be managed by a centralized team so that updates can be rolled out in a timely and cohesive fashion by area of support.

And best of all, every update brings the donor back to a single, comprehensive view of all their impact, increasing connection and engagement with all their areas of support.

With this release, we also improved your ability to automate the data-driven customization and organization of content on the Mythos Donor Homepage. Sites can now have pages that can be tailored for different areas of giving or different types of donor communications.

New, Improved Publishing and Sharing Workflow Options

We also introduced a variety of other features to make digital stewardship easier and more effective.

For example, updates and changes to content can be staged and reviewed before publishing. Teams can systematically roll out updates, opening the door to more frequent and time-based impact storytelling with donors.

Along with the integrated Mythos email tools, you can leverage your Mythos data map to send personalized invites to each donor or just as easily send direct mail postcards using Mythos PDF Publisher with donor-specific QR codes to promote online engagement.

Centralize or Decentralize with Mythos Teams

And finally, speaking of teams, we’ve expanded on our Mythos Teams approach so that reports and communications can be created with Mythos by different units and rolled out to donors in a more coordinated and managed process.

With Mythos Teams, centralized and decentralized organizations alike have the flexibility to manage comprehensive reporting and communications campaigns with Mythos. Teams can share impact and communications content and better coordinate publishing and distribution.

The Future of Mythos Sites and Digital Donor Engagement

We’ll continue to work with the Mythos User Community to find the best ideas and bring them forward for all of you to benefit from. This year we’ll be focused on providing you a better view into all your donor communications and activities, and we’ll be implementing Mythos Analyze (AI) to help you work faster and more efficiently to create even more and better donor communications with Mythos.
