Donors want to make an impact. But ensuring that scholarship funds are both fully spent and utilized exactly the way the donor intended can be a challenge. Amaan Badruddin, CEO and Co-Founder of Awarded, learned about this challenge through a small scholarship board that he started. He found that scholarship funds can frequently go unawarded and, when they are awarded, it’s not always correctly or compliantly. This led to Amaan and his team creating the Awarded platform.
When we first created Mythos, we had two primary goals: streamline the workflow around creating bespoke gift reports, and make it easier to collect and include relevant beneficiary and impact stories in those reports.
As the platform has matured, so too has our vision for how to help engage donors with more impact stories and how to scale impact storytelling in new ways.
Helping Mythos users properly use funds based on donor intentions is central to our product vision. Partnering with Awared to create a seamless integration between platforms was a logical next step.
